News of A Year on Broadway-in Austin Texas and in the book You Are Here: Mapping the Soul of New York by Katherine Harmon

Katherine Harmon's book You Are Here: Mapping the Soul of New York came out on November 1. Included are 3 long images from A Year on Broadway.

Below you can see the pages that include my work.
It is a lovely NYC book full of art from all sorts of artists whose subject matter was the physical/ geographical aspect of NYC.

And the exhibition A Year on Broadway opens today, at St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas.
I will be going there next week for the reception on November 11 from 6 to 8PM. The exhibition runs through December 12.

First Radio Headline Heard of the Day Drawing Project continues

It is Day168-6/16/16 and the First Radio Headline Heard of the Day Drawing Project continues.

Every morning I record the first radio headline I hear (generally on WNYC-unless I am traveling and then it on the local NPR or CBC radio station.)  I then trawl the Internet for videos and take screen shots from the videos. I draw/ paint with gouache and watercolors from looking at the captured images on my screen. They are all posted daily on Twitter at @drawitall
and on Instagram at @msdocumentrix or see the entire project on my website-updated daily

Here are some recent drawings. They are all between 5 and 7"on both sides.

New Project begins! The "First Radio Headline Heard of the Day Project"

I have begun a new project. I actually started it on November 22, but began posting it as an online project as of January 1, 2016. It is called the “First Radio Headline Heard of the Day Project,” thus combining my radio listening and drawing addictions. If you want to see the daily drawings you can follow me on Twitter—my hashtag is ‪#‎Drawitall‬ and/or on Instagram where my hashtag is Msdocumentrix. Here are three images from before I started posting online.
