Pickings from the garden at Bosco Falconeria
artichoke and knife (and me)
Yesterday I picked my first artichokes---wow!!! And we picked broccoli, black mustard greens, peas, oranges, grapefruits and onions--all organic and ate them later...Fantastic. A fresh artichoke is an entirely different species!!
Elise Engler is a New York based visual artist. Her current project will bring her to Antarctica this December and January. There she will be documenting scientific research and life at McMurdo Station and in the field.
